Wine Country is swell and all but could you really spend an entire week’s vacation here?

You most certainly can.  And Booker & Butler can help you with your own customized Napa or Sonoma vacation planning.

How about a vacation that offers a custom Napa Valley or Sonoma wine tour where you’ll experience the different wine country appellations in Napa and Sonoma and lets you taste your way through each? You could spend a whole day in Napa visiting only hillside wineries — Spring Mountain, Diamond Mountain, Howell Mountain, Mount Veeder.  Another day just on the Valley floor — Stag’s Leap, Oakville, Rutherford, St. Helena. You could drive Northern California Coast - Booker and Butler Conciergesthe breathtaking Sonoma Coast on the third day, searching out Pinot Noir’s hidden gems. On the fourth you could cut inland and explore the Pinots of Russian River Valley. Day 5 could be just about sparkling wine — Mumm, Schramsberg, Domaine Chandon, Domain Carneros. Day 6, well, you should probably switch to beer.

Napa - Sonoma Zipline Tours - Booker and Butler ConciergesSay you wanted to eat your way across Wine Country. Yountville has the most Michelin-starred restaurants per capita of any town in the world. Let’s assume your wallet can’t stomach seven days of that. Maybe you’d like to cook. The world-famous Culinary Institute of America (the other CIA) is in St. Helena. Ramekins, a somewhat less famous but no less credentialed coking school is in Sonoma. And between them there are more farmers markets and more artisan producers of cheese, olive oil, honey, oysters, beef and — did we mention cheese? — than you can shake a fork at.

Honestly, you’re probably too disciplined a person to do nothing but eat and drink for a solid week. So you’ll be relieved to know that there are just as many ways burn the calories off as there are to pack them on. Kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, biking, zip lining, horseback riding, fly fishing, trap shooting, cross fit. C’mon, what’s stopping you?
