Every year we go to Wine Country and each time we choose a different location to stay and look for new things to do in Napa-Sonoma. We never get bored because there’s always something new.
On our list of wine country hotspots to visit next is the Barlow in Sebastopol, a sprawling complex built on the site of an old apple cannery that’s part food hall, part street fair, part culinary center. Sunset Magazine called it an “artisan amusement park.” I can’t wait to explore the MacPhail wines, Guayaki Yerba Mate, Taylor Maid Farms coffee, Spirit Works Distillery for their artisan gin, and then lunch at Zazu.
There’s also Coombsville, just east of Napa. Coombsville is Napa’s newest viticultural appellation and the source of several white-hot boutique producers. Adding to the boon in development in downtown Napa, construction will soon begin on the 185-room Archer Napa hotel. A “high-end, four-star boutique” hotel projected to open in mid-2016 with a retail component.
Booker & Butler always has the pulse on what’s hot, new and trending for Napa and Sonoma events and festivals. We know we are in good hands to be hip on the latest for our Napa vacation.
